Hi Michael, I'm a member of alt.banjo and have downloaded every mp3 that's been posted on the banjo addiction site. In fact, about 9 months ago, when I was first started learning the banjo, I sent you a terrible rendition of Foggy Mountain Breakdown and asked you to critique it. Oh, the pain I must have put you through! But your honest evaluation set me on the right path. I bought a Tony Trishka tablature book and CD and have slowly been working my way through it. My only wish is that I had more time to dedicate to the banjo. The problem is, I'm also a guitarist and a fiddler, and most of the time one of those instruments is what I grab first. I do enjoy the banjo though, and have improved at a slow pace. I'm currently working on Blackberry Blossom. I've not heard enough of Doug Dillard's playing to be able to say it was or was not him playing on that episode, but according to Andy's comments, the banjo player was their make-up man. Who knows? Maybe Doug does make-up in his spare time. Thanks for the info. Very interesting. Cathy
