Boy is that not true. The business types may have jumped on the band wagon and corrupted an otherwise sane system , but they did not "bring us" anything, most especially netiqutte :)

Some email programs do this. Many can be set as to where they put replies. If you are trying to follow something in context it REALLY sucks. Try a different email program ... yes, they exist :)
