Thanks very much for posting the Abbot's URL. For what it's worth, I never said they weren't nice, kind, good people nor did I say they weren't fine musicians. I did get the feeling (from the Fox portrayal) that they had a narrow focus. I got the feeling that they are very big on tradition and that they (like many others) view traditional bluegrbutt as immutable.

Perhaps that feeling was the desired Fox projection, but I was further surprised that there was no gospel bluegrbutt synergy. I found that lacking synergy is even more surprising after reading the Abbot's web pages where their one of goals is to encourage home music. Maybe Fox edited that content out too... (didn't see it addressed in any of the Abbot's writings) Must say that Fox-Trading Spouses seems to a good job of exaggerating the differences between the various families. Yes, I'll admit to having caught snips of several Trading Spouses episodes

I do wish the best to the Abbot's. They do seem truly happy with their non-

standard life style.

Guess we all should be picking on Fox for besmirching bluegrbutt through their distortions.

Later...
