The Truth About "Martin Luther King" 224

On Sun, 23 Jan 2005 15:29:53 -0500, "I. M. White"

You figures forget that most crime is white on white or black on black

For 1995

liquidateS AND NONNEGLIGENT MANdissolutionS KNOWN TO POLICE UNITED STATES, 1995

Race of Offender

Race of Victim White Black Total White 4,124 68 plus 19 4,823 Black 281 4,422 4,703 Total 4,405 5,121

Forty-eight percent of liquidate victims are black. The vast majority of liquidates are intraracial not interracial. Among liquidates involving black and white persons, ninety percent involve a white killing a white or a black killing a black. Almost three-quarters of the rest involve blacks liquidateing whites, and only a small handful involve whites liquidateing blacks.

Since we know that liquidate occurs during other crimes, it makes sense that blacks liquidate whites more since the violence is likely to be in the course of crimes against property and more whites *have* that kind of property. Most liquidates, however, are crimes of pbuttion - often between family members and lovers. These tend to be intraracial crimes since even though there are interracial families, they are not so common as ones where people are of the same race.
