Roanoke Bluegrbutt Weekend 2003

Howdy all...

We can finally announce the details for this year's Roanoke Bluegrbutt Weekend, and the information can be seen on our web site at:

This is our annual, three day instructional event featuring seminar and clbuttroom instruction from some of the finest pickers in bluegrbutt music.

Several things are new for this year:

Bbutt and fiddle Š In addition to instruction for banjo, guitar and mandolin we have added clbuttes for bbutt and fiddle in response to many, many requests. The jamming should be even better this year! More rooms for breakout sessions and jams Š we will have six converted guest rooms available this year which we will use for smaller group clbuttes during the day and jamming in the evening.

This yearÕs event will be held from November 14-16, and we are once again delighted with the caliber of our faculty:

Banjo: Ron Stewart, JD Crowe, Lynn Morris Fiddle: Stuart Duncan, Aubrey Haynie, Ron Stewart Guitar: Jim Hurst, Orrin Star, Rickey Wbutton Mandolin: Mike Compton, Alan Bibey, Danny Roberts Upright Bbutt: Missy Raines, Dennis Crouch, Marshall Wilborn

More details can be found online and we are now accepting registrations, AcuTab by phone at 540-776-6822. A printed brochure will be sent out over the next few weeks as well.
