Two rests Mar Third Bonnaroo Festival
Two rests Mar Third Bonnaroo Festival Tue Jun 15,12:26 AM ET by Ray Waddell MANCHESTER, Tenn. (Billboard) - The third annual Bonnaroo festival notched its best numbers yet for gross and attendance last weekend...

I'd mentioned before that dad was involved with a Duffey tribute project featuring (and I believe I'd even said I wasn't sure, but the name had stuck in my head, and yeah, I know, he's a banjo picker, but you know, sometimes people play more than one instrument, Tom Gray actually is pretty decent on mando) Ron Block. Jon pointed out something like "Uhh, Lane, didn't you mean Ron Thomason, because Ron Block's a banjerpicker?" and I said "Well, I think I'd remember Ron T., so it wasn't him."

Just had a talk with dad over the weekend. How about Ron Spears? He also told me that it's still not out yet. Also, although it would probably not come as any surprise, Akira Otsuka also has plans for a tribute, but it's more of a long-term when-I-have-free-time-I-know-I'll-get-it-done-eventually sort of project.

Dad also will go into the studio with Bill Clifton and Art Stamper this week for sessions, as well as playing with those two (and I didn't have time to ask about the rest of the band, he had a dixieland gig to get to) at Harper's Ferry W.Va this weekend.
