New Alison Krauss on SACD 210
That is a loaded question. SACD stands for Super Audio Compact Disc (I think). Of which there are several types: Single layer: playable only on SACD...

Enlighten me: What's SACD?

Most people do most of their listening in cars or other relatively noisy environments. I like my MP3 player, and I choose to fill it with the lower bit-rate songs, as I like having lots of tunes in them. I listen most often in the truck. Get a 450HP Cummins roaring along at 1700 RPM, a reefer running at high-speed behind it, tire noise from all ten tractor wheels of a Freightliner Century clbutt (even if it is a comparatively quiet ride), and the difference between a 32K or 12 (or higher) MP3 just disappears. You can still choose to make your own MP3s at high rates. Kazaa and the other filesharing services I think have done a lot for reducing quality, but some people would rather have bandwidth savings.

I was at a bar the other week and they'd played something from one of Led Zep's early (very early) stadium shows, and the sound quality blew me right away. Their *Studio albums* never sounded that good.
