Lavalier mikes for fiddle. And wireless systems

right off - thanks for any feedback. and my apologies if this is lengthy.

a store happened to have a goosenecked peavey lavalier and it slipped right into the circle at the end of the f-hole. so that got me started there are lots of lavaliers out there but i haven't seen any goosenecked-semi-flexible ones except for the AudioTechnica Pro95, but the site doesn't give the dimensions. the f-hole circle is about 9mm. some of the models that look good are: *AKG CK77-C417-577WR *Audix ADX5, M1245(this one looks like just the capsule which would allow for a gooseneck attachment) *Countryman B3-B6 - nice and small but not sure if it is semi-flexible *AudioTechnica AT899, Pro95(perfect except don't know the dimension) *Sennheiser MKE series looks good but again the cable may not be semi-flexible ME104 - not sure if this is a capsule with various attachments *Shure MX202 - looks like a sem-flexible cable

and what about? frequency response e.g. 20 - 20k Hz 50 - 18k Hz 80 - 13k Hz 100 - 20k Hz 300 - 15k Hz(the low may be too high. the fiddle starts about 300, yes?)

impedance i got from a site that a high impedance will experience loss with cable length 50 ohms 250 ohms 600 ohms 1000 ohms 2000 ohms

and finally there are some that are small but not small enough - like 10mm these could be pointed at the f-hole. i really think these lavaliers are the way to go and i am wondering why i haven't seen more fiddlers using them(well they are expensive).

oh yeah. what about wireless? like interference, uhf, vhf...? the guy said he could set me up for not more than $500. at that price would i be getting something good or just so-so? wireless sounds good but what does a decent mid-range system cost?
