Kid Songs 318
Here's the history: History of The Grandfather Clock How The Grandfather Clock Got Its Name Over...

Songs I liked as a kid (many of them I still like today): Osbornes (look for them a lot, I liked them as a kid, still do, I'm glad they finally ditched the electric stuff): Ruby; Tennessee Hound Dog (Sundog was right); She's No Angel (mom says I had a wonderful kid-like mondegreen- You'll see her there at the bar 'cross the room, she looks like an angel with her paints and her fumes); Once More (I had a real fondness for Osbornes and Red- I guess dad raised me right); Rockytop;

Country Gentlemen (gee, I wonder how they got there?): Ain't Got No Home (novelty tunes are *always* a hit with kidses); Galveston Flood; Little Bessie; Grandfather's Clock (yes, dad made a bbutt song out of this one LONG before the Scene's "Cellar Door" and the Folkways record just NAILS it); Matterhorn; Amelia Earhart; Bringing Mary Home; Brown Mountain Light (ghost songs always help); Let's (I can't really explain why, but even as a kid, Charlie's guitar hit me good when he went to that E chord); Bluebirds are Singing For Me; New Freedom Bell; Big Bruce.

Reno and Smiley: Barefoot Nellie; Jimmy Caught the privatesens (for pushing Ernest in the Tubb); Freight Train Boogie.
