Del McCoury Forms Own Label After Bidding War

Yes, Del & Jerry recorded an album for Rounder breastled "The McCoury Brothers". I have attached a partial list of recordings in which Del & Jerry have participated.

BTW, there are *3* McCoury brothers and they all have appeared together on various occasions. My dad (G.C.) is the oldest brother, Del is next and Jerry being the youngest. My dad and Del essentially learned Bluegrbutt at the same time in the 50's by listening to 78's and going to venues like New River Ranch and Sunset Park.

We also formed a band in the mid to late 70's called the "McCoury Brothers". My dad on mandolin, Jerry on flattop, myself on the doghouse, Dean Presley on 5-string and Ray Swisher on the fiddle. We played around PA-MD-W Va area mostly doing local gigs for fun.

Of course there were those family reunions - the all McCoury bands...
