To all, Back on St. Patty's day, I sat in at a local So MD bar that had some guy named Dave Norris playing live. While he was kind enough to let me sit in with his band and play my Irish whistles on some tunes, I was blown away with his original music. He had some CDs there that he was selling and I picked up a few. Over time, I asked him for permission to put his music up on the internet and he said sure and sent me his bio.
I was totally unaware that he wrote "He Walked All the Way Home" covered by Blue Highway, "Dusty", covered the Seldom Scene, "Timberline" covered by Larry Sparks, etc...

I created a site for Dave at
with MP3 samples and links to full version MP3s of his songs. Some of the links (hosted by WashingtonPost.com and C-net's Download.com) are still works in progress but what is available is worth the listen. His music can be clbuttified as folk, country, bluegrbutt, Americana.
"Grandpa was a Gentleman", an MP3 posted at both sites, is my personal favorite.
I am posting this on a few relevant folk-bluegrbutt-Americana newsgroups, not spamming tho!
