Bluegrbutt Intentions in the east

Hi folks, The Bluegrbutt Intentions, with Bill Evans, Eric Thompson, Alan Senauke, Suzy Thompson, and Larry Cohea, will be playing a few gigs back east in a couple of weeks. This is a rare occurrence, we only do this once a year. The Bluegrbutt Intentions draws a fair amount of material from pre-bluegrbutt sources like Luther Strong, Marcus Martin, Benton Flippen, Tommy Jarrell, Wayne Perry, Hazel privatesens, Leadbelly, Victoria Spivey, Muddy Waters, etc. We play some original tunes too, and of course our favorite material from Jimmy Martin, Don Reno, Stanley Bros, Flatt & Scruggs, Osborne Bros, etc.

Thurs. May 20 - Charlottesville, VA -- Gravity Lounge -- www.gravity-lounge.comwith Steve Smith (Bill's erstwhile cohort from long-ago Cloud Valley) opening

Fri. May 21 -- Arden, DE (near Philadelphia) -- concert for the Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music -- there's no info about this concert on their website, apparently the venue is so tiny that they don't want to publicize it! If you're interested in attending, please email me and I will figure out how to make that happen!
