The lineup for this year's Huck Finn Jubilee promises to be the best ever. With 14 number one Country hits, The Bellamy Brothers will headline Sunday at 6:00 PM. The will also hold a "Chat Session" in the Entertainer's Campground prior to their main stage performance. Then in a rare Southern California appearance, J. D. Crowe and The New South, The Nashville Bluegrass Band and Laurie Lewis and her Bluegrass Pals will host workshops and main stage performances all day on Saturday. On Friday, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver will be joined by The Reno Brothers and five bands chosen to perform in the National Bluegrass Playoffs on the following day. The Jubilee will replace the Pizza Hut Showdown with The Nationals Bluegrass Playoffs on Saturday. The winning band will receive a minimum of $2000 towards registration, air fare and lodging at the IBMA Convention, Awards Show and Fan Fest in Louisville, Kentucky. The five bands participating in the playoff are Paradise Junction - California, Acme Dynamite Company, Nevada, Red Mesa Rounders, New Mexico, Gold Rush, Arizona, and the San Diego Fan's Choice Band. That's only the beginning! Other great bands include: The Blade Runners, The Hat Band, Julie Wingfield, The Circuit Riders, Chaparral, and The Lost & Found.
