VISIONS OF THE PAST

book History book of Grant's Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival
Honors 30 Years of the Best
!

Visions of the Past is a 150 page history of the festival complete with 318 pictures. This festival history is probably the only one of its kind ever to be published. Compiled by Bill Grant's daughter, Brenda Weatherford, it contains, along with a yearly account, the writings memories and good wishes of a number of people including such personalities as the Sand Mountain Boys, and Bill's childhood and rodeo-steer-roping-days friend, Clark McEntire and wife Jackie (Reba's parents).

Bill Grant himself, an excellent writer, wrote the foreword, going back to childhood and the days before rural electricity when he listened on the battery radio to many fine programs and stars who were to influence his life. He also did a detailed and beautiful word-portrait of his mother and father, with bits about himself creeping in as needed to paint a desired picture.

One fan said, "Just the pictures of the stars covering 30 years is worth the $15.00, and I will be sending for eight more books for Christmas presents. Two of my grandkids will want to use the information to write term papers."

Visions of the Past is only $15.00 plus $2.50 shipping
